Macron: Student Demands Valid but Politicized
Macron's statements confirm that the students' demands in the French protests are legitimate, but they are being exploited by some political forces for personal purposes. The government is called upon to provide tangible solutions to address these concerns. The protests, which have continued for three weeks, saw the participation of around 161,500 people according to the Ministry of the Interior, while unions claimed the number reached 480,000. The demonstrations led to acts of violence and clashes with police, who used tear gas. Notably, a 15-year-old boy lost his hand due to a bomb explosion during the protests, with his family blaming the police for causing his injury. This reflects the escalating student protests over police misconduct and excessive violence, as investigations into numerous complaints are ongoing.
