Yemen Conflict Intensifies Amid Strikes
The article focused on the escalation of military confrontations between the Saudi-led coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen and the Houthi movement. In recent days, the coalition carried out airstrikes targeting fuel storage facilities in Sanaa and Hodeidah, in addition to intercepting and destroying missiles and drones launched by the group towards Saudi territories, including Riyadh and Khobar. In response, the Houthis issued warnings and threats to target Saudi oil facilities and airports, sharing maps with the coordinates of potential targets, and warned of a "harsh and painful" retaliation against any attack on Sanaa. The areas controlled by the Houthis also experienced airstrikes resulting in civilian casualties and injuries, leading to an escalation on the ground and increasing regional tensions amid intensified military operations and attacks on Saudi Arabia, after Houthi assaults on Saudi airports caused civilian deaths and injuries.
