Kyiv shaken by blasts and shelling
Sudden explosions in Kyiv on Tuesday evening caused strong tremors throughout the city without prior warning. Reports indicated that Russia bombed a tall residential building, prompting emergency teams to be dispatched to the area. This comes amid a escalation of Russian attacks on Ukraine, as Ukrainian authorities work to improve their preparedness for the war's impacts and the city's winter preparations. No prior warnings were issued, and these events are part of the ongoing intensification of Russian military operations that have been continuing for over five years.
