Salma Blair detained in New York plane incident
The most notable incident is the arrest of American actress Salma Blair at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City, following her involvement in an incident aboard a flight coming from Los Angeles. During the flight, she experienced a health crisis that unintentionally led to her injuring two flight attendants, a police officer, and another individual. Her lawyer attributes her behavior to her multiple sclerosis, a condition she suffers from, which caused her to lose her sense of direction due to an emergency she encountered during the flight. She has been granted bail set at $20,000, with a court hearing scheduled for January to review the legal proceedings. Meanwhile, the airline emphasizes that passenger and crew safety remains their top priority.
