Prince William hosts cricket match at Buckingham
Prince William held an informal cricket match on "The Mall" street in front of Buckingham Palace in London, featuring some of the sport's top stars such as Saurav Ganguly and Brian Lara. The event aimed to promote environmental initiatives and support the "Earthshot Prize," which he established in 2020 to combat climate change. The event saw participation from the prince and photographers engaging with the public, and its goal is to strengthen relations between Britain and India through the sport of cricket, with a focus on innovative solutions to protect the environment. The prize is awarded to five winners each year, with each receiving one million pounds to develop environmental projects.
