Hezbollah unveils aid plan for Lebanese refugees
Hezbollah announced a financial support plan for Lebanese displaced persons affected by the recent war with Israel, which includes providing assistance of up to $14,000 for families whose homes were destroyed or severely damaged. The aid will be divided into rent allowances and furniture. The assistance covers families in Beirut and the southern suburbs, amounting to $14,000, and others in different regions of Lebanon, amounting to $12,000. Payments will be made in four installments over the course of a year. This initiative comes despite American doubts regarding the party's funding sources. Lebanese authorities estimate that the total costs of damage caused by the two wars exceed $27 billion, with hundreds of thousands displaced due to shelling and destruction.
