NATO develops counter-drone tech
The head of NATO's Innovation Fund has confirmed that the Russian-Ukrainian war has reordered the alliance's priorities in the field of defense technologies, with a particular focus on developing counter-drone systems and space surveillance aircraft. This includes investments worth one billion euros to enhance capabilities for detection, tracking, and immediate neutralization of drones, especially on the alliance's eastern flank. The war experience has also influenced investment strategies, with Poland and its forces becoming more open to adopting modern technologies and strengthening their engineering infrastructure.
