Sunset Falcon visits Saudi reserve
The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve has spotted the sunset peregrine falcon, a rare migratory bird in Saudi Arabia. It migrates to the kingdom from Africa during the summer and autumn migration and breeding seasons. The falcon travels thousands of kilometers to find a safe haven in the reserve for nesting and reproduction, exhibiting a tendency to return to specific nesting sites that can be reused annually. Protecting this species, which is classified as critically endangered globally, is essential to ensure its continued presence in the Saudi environment.
