Trump Suggests U.S. Military Action After Riyadh Attack
U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States may join the Saudi military campaign against the Houthis in Yemen, in response to attacks targeting Riyadh Airport, potentially expanding America's role in the conflict. This came after King Khalid International Airport was targeted by a missile attack that caused injuries and several cases in intensive care, leading to the airport's temporary closure and the cancellation of flights to and from Riyadh. Trump indicated that a decision regarding U.S. involvement would be made swiftly, amid escalating attacks on Saudi facilities.
