Bashkiyan links talks success to lack of threats
Iranian President Masoud Beshzkian emphasized that the success of negotiations with the United States to end the war depends on establishing a pressure-free and threat-free dialogue, based on mutual respect and reciprocal commitments. He also issued a warning that economic sanctions imposed on Iran will affect not only the internal situation but will also extend to regional sectors such as trade and energy. This came at a time when Washington and Moscow are engaging in talks to reduce tensions, despite ongoing pressures and sanctions, even though Trump has stated he opposes launching a military attack on Iran before the US midterm elections in November, reaffirming that the naval blockade on Iran will remain in place.
