Lebanon faces pressure to restrict Hezbollah funding
The US and European pressures on Lebanon to curb Hezbollah's financing and its institutions are intensifying. The international community is insisting on resolving the issue of the "Good Loan" Association, strengthening oversight of cash flows, monitoring suspicious transfers, and adhering to international sanctions lists. In response, Prime Minister Nawar Salameh's government is addressing the economic crisis by lifting subsidies and providing social aid to impoverished families, along with legal measures to pursue those involved and recover stolen funds.
