Attacks on Jazan and Najran airports injure three
On Monday, Jazan and Najran airports in Saudi Arabia were targeted; the attacks resulted in three minor injuries and material damages. The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation announced that emergency teams and relevant authorities responded to the two attacks, transporting the injured to hospitals. They are also working with security agencies to assess the damages and ensure the safety of the air navigation system. The Houthi group claimed responsibility for the missile and drone attacks on sensitive targets in the region, as a response to the escalating Yemeni tensions that have persisted since 2014. Yemen is seeking to restore its institutions and achieve stability after escalating clashes, following the Houthi attack in September on areas along the Red Sea coast.
