Trump explains US bomber withdrawal from RAF Fairford
The United States announced the withdrawal of its long-range bombers from Fairford Base in Britain due to threats targeting them, although the specific nature of these threats was not precisely detailed. However, President Trump indicated that the move was intended to avoid provoking the enemy and to prevent a defeat. The statements confirmed that the decision came days after Britain arrested a group suspected of links to an Iranian plot aimed at the base, amidst security concerns related to Iran and potential efforts involving combat drones.
