Over 70 UN staff detained in Yemen
The article discusses the escalation of military operations in Yemen, where the Yemeni Minister of Information announced the commencement of a new phase of Operation "Yemen Dawn," supported by the Saudi-led coalition, with the aim of restoring state institutions and liberating Sana'a. The footage also showed the expansion of the Houthis' control, as they seized the residence of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council in Taiz. The Houthis announced that they carried out 106 airstrikes and missile attacks targeting Yemeni regions within 24 hours and intercepted two Saudi F-15 aircraft. As military challenges intensify, the Arab coalition continues its escalation efforts to gain control over key areas, marking the fiercest fighting in years. Reports indicate that these operations aim to halt the Houthis' advance and impose political options on the ground.
