Israel plans new attack on Iran
The Israeli newspaper "Israel Hayom" has revealed that the Israeli military is currently preparing for a potential military operation against Iran, which could be carried out either in coordination with the United States or independently. There are hints that any significant move might be delayed until after the U.S. midterm elections in November 2026. Israeli planning primarily focuses on targeting Iran's nuclear program, as Iran still possesses several kilograms of enriched nuclear material, amid worsening economic conditions in Iran. Israel continues to prepare for preemptive strikes or responses to potential Iranian attacks, maintaining joint military cooperation with the United States. However, the final decision may be postponed due to U.S. electoral politics.
