Iran responds to reports of deploying Pakistani troops to Saudi Arabia
Iran denounces rumors about Pakistan sending troops to participate in the war against the Houthis in Yemen, warning that any new military intervention would increase the complexity of the regional situation, especially amid the growing support Pakistan has shown for Saudi Arabia within a mutual defense agreement between the three countries. These statements come amid speculation regarding Pakistan's involvement in supporting Saudi Arabia against Houthi attacks, particularly after Islamabad's announcement of its commitment to defend Riyadh and its inclusion within the framework of joint military cooperation, with officials confirming an upcoming meeting to discuss recent developments on the ground and regional circumstances.
