Kyiv mayor's remarks highlight new situation
The New York Times reported that Mayor Kyiv Vitali Klitschko expressed the tragic situation in the city due to Russian shelling, indicating a deterioration in security and logistical conditions. He pointed out the continued targeting of bridges and transportation hubs, which threatens to paralyze life in the Ukrainian capital, especially after a main bridge was destroyed and the buzz of Russian drones increased in the city's sky. Western countries are also planning to relocate their embassies from Kyiv to Lviv or Poland, as the infrastructure damage worsens and approaches collapse due to ongoing Russian strikes.
