Honor at stake in sports court over 800,000 euros
It has been announced that Ashraf Dary's crisis, a defender of Al Ahly, has escalated into a legal dispute before the International Sports Court regarding financial dues related to his transfer from French club Brest to Al Ahly in the summer of 2024. His agent is demanding a fee of 800,000 euros as a commission tied to the deal, following Dary's experience in the French league with Brest and his participation with the Belgian club Charleroi before his move to Al Ahly. Dary played 22 matches with Al Ahly without scoring any goals and contributed to winning the Egyptian Premier League titles and the Super Cup. He also participated in the 2022 FIFA World Cup with the Moroccan national team, scoring one goal. The court continues its proceedings on the case, awaiting the final documents to issue a decision.
