Portuguese Federation awards Ronaldo the Number 7
The Portuguese government announced that football star Rafael Leão will wear the number 7 jersey with the Portugal national team, following coach Jorge Jesus's decision to give the number 7 to Galatasaray's player. This marks the end of Cristiano Ronaldo's tenure with the Portuguese team for now. This decision comes amid the crisis that arose between Ronaldo and Jesus, and Ronaldo's absence from the national team camp after disagreements. The move is seen as a significant shift in the team's lineup as they prepare to face Denmark in the UEFA Nations League.
