Flydubai's Israeli passengers face cockpit conflict and sudden descent
The article discusses an incident involving pilots aboard a Fly Dubai flight traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv, who attempted to commit suicide and deliberately bring down the plane during a flight near Saudi Arabian skies. One of the pilots tried to destroy the aircraft from an altitude of 30,000 feet, resulting in a sudden but safe emergency landing at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia. Israeli authorities confirmed that one of the pilots, an Omani national, tried to take control of the aircraft and committed a suicide attempt that affected the flight’s course. Investigations suggest that the incident might have been an act of terrorism or an internal dispute among the crew. Extensive inquiries have been conducted to ensure the safety of flights in the region. Israel suspects that the incident reflects an attempted terrorist act, and security efforts are underway to determine the causes behind what ultimately concluded with the safe arrival of all passengers and the assessment of the security repercussions.
