Israel Questions Sisi's War Prep
The decision made by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to delegate some of his powers related to general mobilization to the Minister of Defense comes within the context of enhancing troop readiness and improving administrative efficiency, without any announcement of a war or immediate military operations. This measure aims to expedite reserve call-up procedures, manage logistical resources, and carry out training exercises, while maintaining geopolitical stability in the region amidst ongoing tensions. Analysts emphasize that the repeated annual extension of this delegation reflects Egypt’s keenness to ensure high leadership flexibility and strategic preparedness in line with regional changes.
