Houthis report attacks on Saudi targets
The Houthi Yemenis launched attacks on sensitive targets in Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh and the Saudi Aramco facility in Yanbu, in response to the Saudi-led aggression. They used ballistic missiles and drones after 732 Saudi airstrikes on areas controlled by the Houthis. The Houthis also attempted to target Mecca with a drone, but Saudi air defense forces intercepted the drone before it entered the city's airspace, and the group denied targeting Mecca. The escalation in Houthi attacks and the development of their missile and drone capabilities represent a serious escalation, increasing regional tensions, without direct intervention from the United States.
