Houthi theft hampers Saudi aid in Yemen
Humanitarian and medical facilities and programs funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center in the Al-Khukhah Directorate and the western coast areas of Yemen have been subjected to attacks and looting by the Houthi militias. These actions threaten to disrupt vital services benefiting thousands of civilians and internally displaced persons in challenging humanitarian conditions. The Yemeni Ministry of Human Rights confirmed that these acts include targeting clinics, food and medicine warehouses, water and shelter projects, and attacks on workers, constituting violations of international laws and hindering the delivery of essential aid. The government and international organizations have been called upon to condemn these assaults and take measures to protect the facilities and personnel, with warnings that the humanitarian situation could worsen if these practices continue.
