Jesus Implies Past Doesn't Matter for Cristiano's Portugal Role
Coach Jorge Jesus has called up Cristiano Ronaldo to Portugal's squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Wales and Denmark. Jesus stated that Ronaldo’s current performance is the decisive factor in determining his participation, and that he treats him like any other player, regardless of his legendary status or the number of Ballon d'Or awards he has won. It is worth noting that Ronaldo, who previously played under Jesus at Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, is one of the most capped international players, with 233 appearances and 146 goals.
