Iran executes man for leaking military data
Iranian authorities have executed a man named Hossein Badran on charges of leaking missile site information to the Israeli Mossad, as part of a series of rapid executions carried out by Iran in recent times. Iranian courts stated that the verdict was issued due to his providing Israel with information about missile locations in Isfahan Province, amidst escalating tensions between Iran and Israel. Since last year, Iran has seen an increase in the number of executions, with over 1,639 people reportedly put to death according to human rights reports. The reports also indicate that Iran is among the countries that employ the death penalty most intensively, second only to China.
