The North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that the country's status as a nuclear power is irreversible, supported by its nuclear deterrence capabilities. It considers the International Atomic Energy Agency's resolution criticizing its nuclear program to reflect double standards and to threaten the international non-proliferation system. North Korea also denounces the agency's lack of any stance on the nuclear proliferation activities conducted by the United States and South Korea, asserting that its efforts to enhance its nuclear capabilities are non-negotiable and non-reversible, and that it does not need recognition from anyone. This escalation comes in the context of an inspection tour carried out by its leader, Kim Jong Un, of ammunition factories, during which he indicated that the modernization of its armed forces is undergoing significant changes, and that modern ideological warfare must be offensive and innovative. Meanwhile, North Korea remains committed to its nuclear weapons and considers its nuclear status to be solid and unassailable.
