Greenspan and Rodriguez top UN race
The Security Council concluded its unofficial voting process to select the successor to UN Secretary-General António Guterres. No candidate received unanimous support, as eight contenders remain in the race, including Rebecca Greenspan Mayovitch. In the third round, Greenspan received 9 votes in favor and 5 against, with the official results of the vote still not announced. It is worth noting that the process involves further filtering before an official selection by the General Assembly, which is expected to take place in the coming months.
