Palestinian Students Face Risks in West Bank
Palestinian students in the West Bank face significant dangers and difficulties in accessing their schools due to military restrictions and security needs, including road closures and checkpoints imposed by Israel. These obstacles disrupt the education process and threaten students' safety. Many schools lack the capacity to resume classes regularly, with school days reduced to only three days a week. Students also face the risk of attacks by settlers or occupation forces during their commute. These circumstances lead to a decline in educational quality and have a profound psychological impact on students and their families, with some students compelled to ride long buses or participate in protests demanding the reopening of roads and the right to education.
