Gangs Kidnap Two Palestinians, Activist Among Them

The abduction of Palestinians by armed gangs in Gaza from their areas of control, especially near the Israeli border, with the aim of handing them over to Israel, is causing widespread concern over the fate of the kidnapped individuals. These operations are increasing under the supervision and guidance of Israeli intelligence. Some of the kidnapped are members of Palestinian factions and may be subjected to torture or interrogation, while the gangs also steal belongings from homes during these operations. In a related context, attacks and abductions continue to escalate, despite ongoing violations by the Israeli occupation through bombing and intensification of military operations, resulting in the death of Palestinians and injuries to others.
