The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has allowed the main Iranian team, which may include President Masoud Beshkian, to attend the United Nations General Assembly meetings next week, despite ongoing tensions between the two countries. The Iranian delegation will face travel restrictions, and there will be limits on purchasing luxury goods, with a reduced number of members compared to last year. This move comes amid the ongoing U.S. policy of sanctions against Iran, which has previously imposed restrictions on the movement of Iranian officials over the past year, and has affirmed that it will continue to restrict the movement of Iranian delegations in New York amidst ongoing political tensions between Washington and Tehran.
