The European Parliament approved a text calling on Spain and Morocco to expedite procedures for the deportation of migrants who entered Ceuta in July and are considered undocumented, and to prevent them from staying in Europe. The text condemns large-scale and illegal crossings of the border from Morocco to Ceuta, and urges increased cooperation to repatriate irregular migrants to their home countries. The resolution was adopted with a majority of 339 votes in favor to 225 against, with the participation of right-wing and far-right parties, while the left-wing party opposed it.
