Google Translate updates with new floating toolbar
Google has rolled out a new update for the Google Translate app on the Android system, featuring interface design improvements aimed at achieving greater simplicity and modernity by adopting an expressive Material 3 style. One of the most notable changes is the redesign of the home screen, where the input field has become more prominent with better organization, and the three-dot button containing additional tools has been removed, with features such as handwriting and voice input now integrated directly into the input box. A floating toolbar has also been added at the bottom of the screen, including tools for instant translation, the camera, and the training guide, to support easier access and organization. The updates rely on clear colors and a simpler design, while maintaining some core functions with little change. These updates are being gradually rolled out to users over several weeks, with the goal of making the app more user-friendly, organized, and aligned in design with other Google applications.
