Tesla Roadster pushes gravity limits

Tesla has revealed a redesigned version of its electric sports car, the "Roadster," equipped with rocket-like propulsion systems, nearly nine years after showcasing the prototype. The company plans to start production in 2028. The new vehicle features acceleration from zero to approximately 97 kilometers per hour (about 60 mph) in less than a second, exceeds a top speed of 370 kilometers per hour (around 230 mph), and sports a design inspired by high-performance supercars, with a lightweight carbon fiber chassis. This development comes amid Tesla's strategic shift toward autonomous driving technologies and robotics. Recently, the company ceased selling traditional models S and X, focusing instead on artificial intelligence projects such as the "Optimus" robot and the self-driving taxi "Cybertruck." The Roadster was originally slated to reach the market in 2020, but multiple delays postponed its production. Pricing has not been officially announced, although Tesla had previously indicated a base price of $200,000.
