Galaxy S27 Ultra May Get Privacy Display V2
Samsung is preparing to launch an improved version of the Privacy Display feature on its Galaxy S27 Ultra, called Privacy Display v2. The update will include enhancements in image quality and viewing angles to ensure privacy without significantly sacrificing screen clarity. The feature relies on Flex Magic Pixel technology, which reduces the visibility of content from side angles, and can be activated across the entire screen or on specific parts such as notifications. Samsung faces a challenge in improving image clarity when the feature is enabled, as the current generation results in lowered display quality. However, leaks suggest that the new version will include major improvements, such as increased resolution and wider viewing angles, potentially allowing for long-term use of the feature without noticeable degradation in picture quality. The feature is expected to be available on two phones in the series, the Galaxy S27 Ultra and Galaxy S27 Pro, which are likely to be launched in February 2027, with prices starting around $1,400. They will run on Android 17 with One UI 9.5.
