Jiminay Gemini transforms your screen into a smart store
Google is working on developing a new feature within its smart assistant Gemini called "Shop this." The goal of this feature is to make it easier to identify products displayed on the screen without having to leave the app. The feature relies on screen context understanding technology, allowing it to analyze the visible content on the phone instantly and provide detailed information about the product, such as specifications, possible purchasing locations, and comparisons between different versions. Additionally, it can display similar products and suggest alternatives. This feature aims to enhance the online shopping experience and facilitate quick product comparisons. It can be used within various applications like social media platforms and browsers. The feature is still under development, and no official release date has been announced yet.
