Huawei announces Mate XT 2 foldable
Huawei has launched the triple-foldable phone, the Mate XT 2 Ultimate Design, which is the third edition in its series of foldable phones. The device features a new design that uses two separate screens instead of a single one, with a fold mechanism that protects the main screen when closed and allows the use of the rear screen when fully folded. The phone is powered by a Kirin 9050 Pro processor, with up to 16GB of RAM, storage options ranging from 256GB to 2TB, a main display measuring 10.2 inches with 3K resolution, and a 6.5-inch external display. It comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup with 50, 40, and 50-megapixel sensors, including a 3.5x optical zoom lens. The starting price is around $3,000 in the Chinese market. The global release date has not yet been announced, and it is expected to be priced higher in other markets.
