Jensen Huang: AI with GPT-6 Astra is here
NVIDIA announced that the advanced AI model GPT-6 Astra marks the arrival of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), as it possesses sophisticated capabilities to perform multiple tasks using tools and internet browsing, with high results in specialized tests. The model was trained using more than 100,000 NVIDIA computing systems, and the company is preparing to add 400,000 new GPUs to support infrastructure expansion. Statements suggest that Astra can handle complex tasks in fields such as programming, cybersecurity, research, and data management, thereby increasing the likelihood of it reaching the stage of general AI, although defining this milestone remains a topic of debate among experts regarding the standards for such a classification.
