Galaxy S27 with Exynos 2700 boosts performance
The performance results of Samsung's highly anticipated Exynos 2700 processor on the Geekbench platform show significant progress, registering 4,328 points in the single-core test and 14,700 points in the multi-core test. These scores surpass previous benchmarks conducted on an earlier version of the same processor. The chip features a 10-core design distributed across older and newer Arm architectures to achieve a balance between performance and efficiency. It is expected to be paired with the Xclipse 970 graphics processor and a dedicated AI processing unit. Additionally, it will support LPDDR6 memory and be manufactured using a 2-nanometer process technology with SF2P fabrication. Preliminary results reflect Samsung's efforts to bring the performance of this processor closer to that of flagship chips, with plans to deploy it in the upcoming Galaxy S27 phones next year. However, a final assessment will only be possible after the phones' launch and comprehensive testing.
