Moroccan club Raja Casablanca has sacked Spanish coach Francisco “Paco” Jémez over poor results, following a 2–0 defeat to RS Berkane—the team’s first league loss of the season. Before the defeat, Raja had recorded one win and three draws, leaving it 13th in the standings with six points and a game in hand. The club said the team’s results, performances and progress had fallen short of expectations, and that a change in the coaching leadership was needed to reinvigorate the team.
