Moroccan Abderrazak Hamdallah moved into sole possession of first place for goal contributions in the Saudi league after scoring Al-Taawoun’s equalizer against Al-Diriyah (1-1) in the ninth round. He now has 184 contributions—159 goals and 25 assists—surpassing Syrian Omar Al-Somah, who has 183. Hamdallah needs two more goals to match Al-Somah’s record of 161 league goals, and three to surpass him and become the league’s outright all-time leading scorer.
