Moroccan striker Yasser Zabiri, top scorer at the U-20 World Cup with the title-winning national team, has caught Barcelona’s eye after scoring eight goals in 10 Spanish league matches for Racing Santander. The club’s sporting director, Deco, is monitoring his progress, but signing him would be complicated: Zabiri is on loan from Rennes until June 30, 2027, and is under contract with the French club until 2029. His value is estimated at around €20 million. As a result, summer 2027 looks like a more realistic time for any potential move to Barcelona, provided Rennes agrees and Zabiri continues to impress.
