Conflict between Hamdullah and Almahdiwy
Television footage showed verbal altercations and tension between Moroccan Abdel Razak Hamdallah and Dutch Ashraf Mehdioui, players of Al-Taawon, after the first half of the Qadsia match in the Saudi Pro League. Despite their teammates' attempts to defuse the situation, the club announced that no disciplinary sanctions would be imposed on the players, considering the conflict to be a result of sports enthusiasm and a temporary disagreement that was resolved inside the locker room. The match ended with Al-Taawon losing to Qadsia 1-0 in injury time added.
