Galatasaray seeks security before Lille
Security concerns are escalating ahead of the UEFA Champions League match between French Lille and Turkish Galatasaray, scheduled for Wednesday in France, due to acts of violence and looting that took place in several French cities over the weekend. Galatasaray's management has called on the UEFA to implement strict security measures to ensure the safety of players and fans, especially with a large Turkish turnout expected. However, the French Interior Minister confirmed that the match will proceed as planned without any changes, placing authorities in a challenging position to maintain a safe atmosphere amidst growing tension.
