Saudi Prince joins Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos project
A company owned by former players Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos has begun the process of acquiring Brazilian club Internacional de Limeria, which will compete in the second division (Serie B) next season. The general assembly approved the company's takeover of 80% of the club's structure, with the remaining 20% remaining in the club's own ownership. The group plans to invest up to 76 million euros over ten years, with a broader strategy to invest 31 million euros over 15 years, aiming to bring the club back to the top division. This project is considered the largest of its kind in Brazil and has generated enthusiasm among participants despite the challenges.
