Mohamed Salah and his chess influence
Mohamed Salah, the Turkish Trabzon player, is passionate about playing chess extensively and considers it a way to stimulate his strategic thinking and envision different scenarios. He plays daily and says that it encourages him to think strategically on the field, although he does not confirm a direct impact on his athletic performance. Salah relies on mental imagery to achieve his goals, successfully accomplishing 90% of them through visualization. He advises young players to focus on mental training as part of their performance development. Currently, he is performing well with Trabzon, having scored 8 goals and provided 4 assists in 10 matches.
