Security alert for Barcelona vs Madrid
The Spanish authorities have classified the upcoming El Clásico match between Barcelona and Real Madrid, scheduled for Sunday, October 25, at the Spotify Camp Nou stadium, as a high-risk event, necessitating increased security measures. The measures, implemented by the Government Committee for Combating Violence and Racism, will include increasing police presence, controlling access to the stadium, separating the fans of both teams, preventing ticket sales on the day of the match, designating safe zones for visiting supporters, and intensifying searches to prevent the entry of prohibited items. These precautions come in light of the importance of the match, which features the league-leading team, led by Hansi Flick, and its rival Real Madrid, managed by José Mourinho. This is the first encounter between the two teams this season.
