European Nations League criticized
Uli Hoeneß, honorary president of Bayern Munich, criticized the international match schedule and the crowded calendar, stressing that the club suffers greatly as a result. He explained that the short rest period players received between the end of the World Cup and the start of the season was insufficient, with some returning late and having to go on vacation afterward. Additionally, the participation of the team's stars in the World Cup affected their readiness for the new season. He also expressed his dissatisfaction with the long break between UEFA Nations League matches, calling on clubs to defend their interests, emphasizing that it is the clubs that pay the players' salaries, not the national teams.
