Facing: Loss Was Not Tactics-Related
German Jens Visser, head coach of Al-Ittihad, rejected linking his team's 2-3 loss to Al-Hilal in the eighth round of the Saudi Pro League to tactics. He emphasized that the goals conceded resulted from simple mistakes by his players, including losing possession on the left side, conceding goals from individual errors, and high-quality throw-ins. He explained that his team faced a strong opponent and has lost only a few times in the past 50 matches. He stated that they need to learn from these mistakes and prepare for upcoming games. He also attributed the absence of Nigerian striker George Elinikhena to foreign player participation rules, clarifying that he relied on other players after their return from injury. Visser praised the performance of his player Ahmed Al-Ghamdi and some other players, stressing the importance of improving performance and continuing to fight for future matches.
