Barcelona extends lead with Getafe hat-trick
Barcelona's team achieved an important 3-0 victory over Getafe, strengthening their lead in La Liga and giving themselves a chance to break the record for the best start to a season in La Liga, held by Real Madrid with nine wins in the 1968-1969 season, if they win the next two matches against Real Betis and Real Madrid. Gordon scored the first goal after two minutes, marking his debut goal with the team, followed by Jesus with the second, and Kondogbia scored the third, boosting the team's performance, which has not suffered a defeat at home since returning to Camp Nou in late 2025. The win raised their points tally to 24, with the new players shining and making landmark achievements at the start of the season.
