Ronaldo Confronts Possible Six-Month Ban
Reports indicate that Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo faces the possibility of suspension by the Portuguese Football Federation for a period ranging from one month to six months, after leaving the national team camp in anger following a disagreement with coach Jorge Jesus over not being played in the Norway match, despite his official apology. The disciplinary council will determine the final length of the punishment, taking into account the apology and personal circumstances. The suspension will impact Ronaldo's participation in Portugal’s upcoming two UEFA Nations League matches. Ronaldo has previously scored 146 goals in 234 international appearances for Portugal.
